Plagiarism Policy

ISNUJOU: Journal of Education is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and originality. Every manuscript submitted to the journal is screened using plagiarism detection software before entering the peer-review process.

Manuscripts containing evidence of plagiarism, self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, or other forms of academic misconduct will be rejected immediately or returned to the authors for clarification, depending on the severity of the case.

Authors are expected to:

  • Submit only original work that has not been published or simultaneously submitted to another journal.

  • Properly acknowledge and cite all sources of ideas, data, figures, tables, and quotations.

  • Use quotation marks and appropriate citations when reproducing the exact words of another author.

  • Ensure that all borrowed concepts, interpretations, and research findings are appropriately referenced, even when they are paraphrased.

  • Avoid excessive text similarity with previously published works, including their own publications.

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

  • Copying text without proper citation.

  • Using another author's ideas, methods, or data without acknowledgment.

  • Submitting substantially similar work that has already been published.

  • Reusing significant portions of one's own previously published work without proper citation or disclosure (self-plagiarism).

The Editorial Board reserves the right to reject manuscripts or withdraw accepted articles if plagiarism or other violations of academic integrity are identified before or after publication. In cases of proven publication misconduct, appropriate editorial actions, including correction or retraction, will be taken in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policy and the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
